Stuart specialises in the Industrial Recruitment field and has personally recruited and placed candidates in a wide range of Wellington business sectors including manufacturing, logistics, building and construction.
Following over 9 years in the Industry Stuart initiated the idea of creating an employment business with Andy and 4 years ago they combined their expertise to create the highly respected recruitment agency and brand – EQUIP Recruitment Worldwide Ltd. Stuart is currently head of the industrial recruitment temporary team and thoroughly enjoys participating in the full recruitment process from interviewing through to placement with his many business partners.


Nichola Moore

Nichola has over 20 years Industry experience working at many levels within the Recruitment Industry including recruitment and Branch management in most business sectors.
Having joined EQUIP as a business owner Nichola is invested in recruiting the best person for EQUIP’s clients. Her specialty is permanent recruitment and she will utilise all the tools at her disposal to tailor a solution for each recruitment need. These include behavioural interviewing, testing and assessment and thorough reference checking. She presents every candidate with a detailed personal appraisal outlining specific details pertaining to their suitability for the role. She also takes care of negotiating the finer employment contract details for both parties as part of her extensive service offering.


Colin Chapman

Colin is a founding shareholder of the Company, he is an established businessman and brings an abundance of skills to the Board including his experience as a Director / Shareholder of 360 Logistics Group – an established Freight Forwarding and Customs brokerage Company that has been in Wellington for over 35 years and continues to grow with 5 branches Nationwide.


Liam Va’ai

Liam is our longest standing recruiter and helped to build the EQUIP business. Liam has a strong knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures at EQUIP and boasts a solid customer and candidate base.
Liam is the front man for many of EQUIP’s high level projects and his skills in Health & Safety extend beyond an understanding of procedure to preventative initiatives onsite and close management thereafter at client and candidate level.
Liam is certified to facilitate workplace drug testing.

Louise Laurenson

Louise has 10 years’ experience in the recruitment industry across a range of IT, sales and commercial fields, now specialising in Construction. Focusing in permanent recruitment for Equip in the Construction industry, Louise understands the need to build and maintain strong long term relationships with candidates and clients. She is experienced is matching client needs with the right candidate for long term success. She is experienced in filling challenging hard to fill roles and will go that extra mile for both the client and candidates. Louise deals with roles from Construction Manager, Site Manager, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to Foreman and Carpentry roles and collaborates with the Temp team for labour hire.

Zane joins EQUIP after a decade of success within the Construction Industry. A born and bred Horowhenua lad, Zane started out as a Broom Hand for his Uncle’s building company. Today, he is a qualified Carpenter and LBP, who has recently been managing projects for a large, reputable construction company.

He knows firsthand what it takes to succeed in the Construction Industry and when you discuss your project challenges or the nature of the position you need filled, he gets it!  Both from being hands on and from recruiting himself, Zane understands that the stable foundation of any company, comes down to their people; he has a passion for keeping people safe and represents EQUIP with an eye for meeting legislative needs by mutual agreement with ourselves, our clients and our fully inducted candidates.

Brandy Willis
Office Manager


Brandy returned home to Wellington after spending most of her working career in the health sector in Sydney Australia.
Brandy brings to the Equip Recruitment team her vast abilities in Administration, Accounts and Payroll having had her last role, before joining us, with another Recruitment Agency.
Brandy understands the needs of clients and candidates alike and therefore responds quickly to their payroll needs.


Angela Chapman

Ange is a new entrant to the workforce and we welcomed her to the Equip team late in 2016. Ange’s role at Equip consists of helping out with general admin work and payroll. Ange is also the accounts assistant for two other local companies which helps add to her growing administration/accounts abilities.
